A movement for people who want to change the world, and a do tank for the organisations they run.
Social Leaders works with community groups, charities, social enterprises and B Corps. It is closer to an incubator than a consultancy: members get coaching, a business leader alongside them, leadership development, the frameworks for proving what their work is worth, and a directory of people who can help.
Performance on Purpose
Most businesses focus on performance and lack purpose. Many charities lack performance and focus on purpose. Performance on Purpose is the commitment to balance, and it is why private and social sector leaders working together creates that balance.
Andy Jackson
Clore Social Leadership Fellow, 2015, named in the January intake announced by Third Sector. Member of the Creative Communities Group, with a background across retail, leisure, youth services and social enterprise.
Social Leaders is Andy’s own project, and he does the coaching himself.
Credit where it is due
The Clore Social Leadership Development Model is the work of Clore Social Leadership. We use it because it is the best map of social leadership there is, and we credit it wherever we teach from it.
What we are careful about
We prepare social accounts and social value assessments. We do not verify them: that is done by a panel chaired by an approved social auditor. Statutory accounts, SORP and independent examination are a separate job, and we point people at Social Sector Accountants for them.
